How it works

Everything you need to take bookings.

01 / 04

A booking calendar on your product page

Customers see live availability, pick a slot, and pay through your normal Shopify checkout. No separate booking tool.

02 / 04

Sold by the hour, half day or full day

Choose a slot length that suits you, usually an hour, and customers pick a start time and how many they want in a row. Sell half days and full days too.

03 / 04

No double bookings, ever

A slot is held the moment it goes in the cart and blocked again at checkout, so two people can never pay for the same time. If an order is still awaiting payment, such as cash on delivery or a bank transfer, the hold stays in place until you mark it paid.

Manage it all from one calendar

Every booking, the customer and the revenue in one admin view. Add walk-ins by hand, and sync it to Google Calendar.

More in Booker

Everything a rental actually needs.

Take a deposit

Charge part of the price now, say 25%, and the rest shows as owed on the customer emails and your calendar. You collect it on the day; Booker never takes it automatically.

A gap between bookings

Keep time either side of every booking, say 30 minutes to clean the studio. Customers never see it; those minutes are simply not offered.

Hours per product

A studio that only opens in the evenings can keep its own hours while the rest of the shop is open all day. Your store closed dates still apply to everything.

Questions at booking

Ask what you need, like how many people are coming, and the answers arrive with every booking.

Paid extras

Let customers add a lighting kit or cleaning when they book. Priced by you, charged in the same order.

Automatic reminders

A confirmation and a reminder before the booking, plus a new-booking notice to you. Add SMS reminders with your own Twilio.

Match your theme

Style the calendar to your store: colours, corners, density, and 12 or 24 hour times. Choose what happens after add to cart too: go to the cart, stay on the page, or run your own code, for example to open your theme's cart drawer.

See bookings in your calendar

Every booking in your own calendar. Push to Google, or subscribe once from Apple Calendar, Outlook or Airbnb with a private feed that keeps itself updated. Customers get an add-to-calendar file too.

Questions

Everything you need to know.

What can I rent out with Booker?

Any space you hire for a length of time: photography studios, darkrooms, meeting rooms, rehearsal rooms, coworking desks, sports courts, event venues and workshops.

Can I take a deposit?

Yes. Set a deposit percentage per product and the customer pays that share at checkout. The balance is recorded and shown on their emails, and you collect it yourself; Booker does not auto-charge the remainder.

Do customers pay through Shopify?

Yes. Booking and payment run on your normal Shopify checkout, so your orders, customers and payment setup work exactly as they do now.

How does it stop double bookings?

The moment a slot is added to the cart it is held for everyone else, and it is checked again at checkout, so the same time can never be booked twice on the same space.

Can I offer more than one space?

Yes. Sell several identical ones on any plan that allows the product, or on Pro give each its own name and prices. You can also sell one room under different headings, or link two separate products that are really the same room.

Does it sync with my calendar?

On Starter and Pro, every booking appears in a Google Calendar you choose and disappears if it is cancelled. You can also subscribe to a private feed from Apple Calendar, Outlook or Airbnb.
